This excursion allows you to travel back in time to the glorious reign of Al-Andalus. After picking you up from your accommodation, you will explore the city of Cordoba.
The impressive Mosque (Mezquita), with its intricate arches, represents one of the most beautiful examples of Islamic art and calls your attention to its contrast with the current Gothic-style cathedral.
Once outside, you will pass through the narrow streets of the old Jewish quarter and take a peek at some of the famous Cordoban patios, whose bright, colorful flowers contrast with the whitewashed walls and lovely Spanish tiles. Other must-see locations are the Royal Stables as well as the fortress-castle (Alcázar). Afterwards, discover Cordoba’s succulent and flavorful cuisine with some of its most famous tapas, such as flamenquin or salmorejo.
Finally, pass by the edge of the Guadalquivir River, enjoying the view of the city and the enormous water mills that supplied the city centuries ago, before heading to Granada, where more Andalusian treasures awaits you.

Could not be happier with our transfer with Jose and Francesca. This part of our trip was complicated due to train track work, so I was looking to rent a car and drive when I discovered the transfer option. So glad I did. This was definitely a splurge for us, but our guides made the trip a joy. They were lively, engaging, funny, and very knowledgable. The addition of a day in Córdoba was also very worth while. Lovely town worthy of a stop.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an enjoyable carefree travel day!

We had a seamless transition from Seville to Granada when our personal van awaited us at our hotel, Hotel Becquer. We were a group of 9 people and wanted to maximize our time and travel experiences, so getting in a tour of Cordoba on the was was excellent. We had a personal guide– Carlos– who was absolutely helpful, knowledgeable, and amazing. We also had a different personal guide (forgot her name, very nice lady) once we reached the Mosque-Cathedral in Cordoba who was super informative. While in route, we didn’t have to do anything! It was nice to just rest, not worry about directions, or getting lost. The van was a nice Mercedes Sprinter with A/C and reclining seats. Would highly recommend this specific tour company, Not Just a Tourist. They also helped broker our Alhambra tickets in Granada because we were not able to get any tickets through the Alhambra website as they were sold out. Not Just a Tourist was able to make arrangements for us to get tickets through a local travel agency which we would have not had any clue how to do on on our own. They went above and beyond every step of the way. There was a point in Granada that could not be entered except by local cars, Carlos walked us to our Airbnb and assisted with luggage like a first rate guide! Exceptional service!
