More information
Do you want to make the most of your time in Granada? Join us as we show you what makes Granada’s heartbeat: its people, gastronomy and flamenco. If you have just one night here, there is no better way to spend it.
We will begin at Plaza Nueva, the city’s main square, and wander through the “Christian quarter”, more commonly known as the city center. Enjoy your first tapas in one of Granada’s old-classic taverns. Here you can choose between (or trust your guide!) a variety of drinks and discover the gastronomy of the region. Favourites include juicy meatballs, flavoursome croquetes and perfectly roasted ham. At each of the tapas bars, you will have a drink and a choice of one plate to share – which means that if you are in a group with a few people, you will get to try a dozen different dishes!
Your panoramic view of the city continues as we make our way through the Albaicin, the “Arab quarter”, and oldest neighborhood in Granada. Its windy white-washed streets are now a melting pot for much of the city’s life. Soak up the local ambiance as we stop for your next culinary delight.
It’s then on and up into the Gypsy neighborhood of Sacromonte. For centuries the gypsy populations have lived here in the natural caves nestled in the mountain edge. These are the caves where flamenco was born and where you will experience an intimate show. The show is in one of the oldest and most authentic caves still owned by an old gypsy family. You will find hundreds of flamenco shows in Spain, but only in Granada, you will be, literally, inside a mountain.

We had a private Flamenco/tapas tour in Granada with Miguel which was fantastic. Very informative evening learning all about the history of flamenco. Tapas food/drink fantastic and lots of it. Finished with an up close and personal Flamenco show which was absolutely brilliant. So much energy and passion. The dancers were soooo amazing, the singer was unbelievably good and guitarist spot on. This is a must do – thanks Miguel for a thoroughly enjoyable evening

My husband and I did the tapas & flamenco tour in Sacramonte and it was wonderful. It was truly our favorite part of our trip. Juanfe was an amazing tour guide! He showed us all the local restaurants. He did a great job explaining the different tapas and local history and then the CAVE we went to was an amazing experience. We could feel that generations were singing and dancing there. I would highly recommend this tour!

I booked a flamenco and tapas tour of Sacramonte with my guide, Carlos. He grew up in the area and was very knowledgeable of the history and food! Everything I ate that evening was new to me, so it was a great intro in the traditional food of the region. I also liked that we went to places away from the main tourist streets, lots of locals were hanging out at the places we ate. The show took place in a cave. At first I did not feel safe in the area but when Carlos explained that this is just another neighbourhood and in fact a very old one I started to realize how wonderful the caves and the ambiance was .I would highly recommend booking a tour with this company, it’s laid back and gives you more a real/local look into the food, music, flamenco and culture that makes Granada so lovely!

What a fantastic experience!! We enjoyed learning the history of flamenco from Maria and going to the “locals” bar in Albaycin. The fish there was AMAZING!! Then we went to the bar for the dancing…the food was another pleasant surprise! So yummy! Now to the dancing…we were up close and personal to the dancers, singer and guitarist. It was full of life! Even if you don’t speak Spanish you completely understood what was being said/done because of the passion. Would highly recommend it!

I did a couple of the tours with them, it was an outstanding way to experience Granada. Can highly recommend them to anyone looking for something more substantial than the regular tourist fare. The tapas and flamenco tour of Albaycin and Sacramonte was particularly excellent.
