We wanted to have a direct transfer from Lisbon to Seville but were offered to stop in Evora which has some Roman temples. It was amazing to see such an ancient monument standing quite intact. We also had a nice guided tour of Evora with our local guide and enjoyed this Portugese town quite a lot. I recommend the stop in Evora as it gives you a lot of background information and helps to understand the history of Portugal better.

We wanted to do some sightseeing on our way between Spain and Portugal and Not Just a Tourist seemed to have the perfect ideas for us. As we are foodies they suggested we stop in a family run ranch where the Iberian pigs are and do a ham tasting. That was by far the most delicious ham we ever had. The family was all involved and they showed us the little factory, the tavern they have as well as the ranch where the pigs are kept. Even our kids love the pigs and enjoyed the nice food.Highly recommendable!

We booked this transfer as our flight from the US was to Lisbon. Our driver met us at the arrival on time and we left for Seville. We visited a local winery on the way close to the city of Evora and it was nice to have a taste of Portuguese cuisine on this day. It took us in total about 7 hours and the roads were in perfect condition too.

Luis, our driver was very nice and kind. I forgot my purse in a roadside restaurant and he drove back almost 80 kilometers to look for it. Luckily enough my purse was still there. I have no words to thank him enough. They are just very nice and genuine people and care about what they do.

I am glad we booked this private transfer although the price was a bit high for us. It took us through some nice roads and we stopped in Merida which has some of the finest Roman monuments in this area. I am fascinated by Roman history so they hired a private guide for us in Merida. It was a great way to discover cities that are really off the beaten paths and hard to visit by yourself.
