My husband and I spent a week in Seville, and were eager to get out of the city for a day to explore some of the picturesque White Villages. After reading the reviews, we decided to book a day tour with Not Just A Tourist. We’re so very happy that we did – the entire experience from start to finish was just spectacular. Our guide, Caroline, was so warm and knowledgeable about the villages and their history. And our driver, Roberto, could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The two went out of their way to make our entire excursion memorable, even stopping at an olive oil factory for a tour and tasting. The windy roads of the mountain villages aren’t easy to navigate, but Roberto was a pro who made us feel very safe and comfortable.
Caroline was great about giving us freedom to have lunch on our own, yet was by our side to make sure we had a nice overview of each village. She was so pleasant and made us feel right at home. As for the villages themselves – they really are breathtaking. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone visiting Seville or Andalucia. The convenience of having your own driver and a private guide to show you this beautiful part of the country is worth every penny. Thanks for a great tour, Caroline & Roberto!

We had a most wonderful day, our best tour yet in Spain. Our guide Javier, and our driver Enrique welcomed and treated us as friends from the moment of our pickup. Our day was very informative not only on the Villages we visited but on Spanish culture and life in the cities and countryside.
The white Villages were just so different from anything we have ever seen and so pleased we chose to do this tour. Thank you Javier and Enrique for making our day unforgettable. This area is certainly a treasure not to be missed.

What an amazing day we had on this tour with Gabrielle! He made this the most special memory with his knowledge of the area, the history of Spain and the personal touches. We had time to relax and move at our own pace in the villages were time seem to disappear. The landscape and views of the villages and Ronda are breathtaking! The wine tasting was a very good addition we thoroughly enjoyed. An unforgettable day with a very special guide. A must if you visit the area.

Thanks a lot Rici for your wonderful feedback. I was actually going to send you a little line to ask how your day was till I see this email. We are very glad that you enjoyed your day trip to White villages and Ronda with our little team at Not Just a Tourist.
Have a wonderful journey!

I did the White villages and Ronda tour with Aitor as the driver/guide and Fran training. Both of them speak English and communicated the hows and whys of the white villages. And lunch was the cool local place the had cheap but amazing tapas. And Aitor knew the best place to get good pictures of the bridge. The whole thing didn’t feel like a formal tour it felt like 3 friends on a road trip. Such a fun way to end my time in Andalusia.
Mahsa –
Hola Noel,
Thanks a lot! Very glad that you like it the way we do it :).I hope we could have met too. Maybe see you in Hawai :). Mahsa

Wonderful private tour of Ronda and white villages with additional olive oil tasting. Carlos was a great tour guide on the drive talking about the history of the villages and of Ronda, he was very knowledgeable and also gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant in Ronda just across from the bridge with excellent views and food and close to shops. The villages were lovely. Would love to go back to spend more time in Andalusia it was so beautiful. Thank you for such a lovely and memorable tour!

Thank you so much Elda for your brilliant review. We are very glad you enjoyed your day with us in this beautiful area. It would be great to have you back with more time to explore.
All the best and happy travels!

We signed up for this all day small group tour with some trepidation as my family doesn’t generally like 10 hour tours. In the end, it ended up being the best tour of our trip, probably because of our tour guide, Javier. Javier took us to two of the white villages, to an olive oil tasting and then on to the wonderful city of Ronda. We had lunch in Ronda. Our entire group included our family of four and one other couple.
Javier pointed out all the interesting facts of each village, took us to the perfect photo spots and generally made the day a huge hit for our entire family, no easy feat with two picky teenagers. He even made sure to find a perfect lunch spot for the entire group…
I highly recommend this tour for anyone wishing to venture off the beaten path and to explore the beautiful Andalucia region.

I took a private tour through the white villages to Ronda. A really lovely day, great tour guide. Liked it so much I’m about to book the same trip again a year and a half later!

We were in Spain in September and in Sevilla for 3 days and on one of the days we took a private tour with “Not Just a Tourist” to tour White Villages (Arcos, Grazalema and Ronda). This was one of the highlights of our 17 day Spain excursion. Our tour guides were Jose & David and Juan was the one getting us from point to point with some fantastic driving!
These guys and the company know there stuff and more! They made it very personal and took the time out to explain the minutest of details and in less than 8 hours they became like family:) Juan/David have so much knowledge about Spain, history and some of the small things which no book will be able to tell you…..I would recommend this company and this particular group of guides to everyone who is visiting Sevilla…Taking a private tour or a group tour is a personal decision, however I can say this I and my wife did not regret taking a private tour! They also take the time out to provide you recommendations with what to do with the rest of your time in Spain and provide you with maps with must do places written down and also marked on the map…
David/Jose/Juan – We are missing You!
Cheers & Mucho Gracia Pisha!

Carlos , my guide was right on time and unlike other companies I had reviewed ahead of time met me directly in the lobby and returned me there.
He was curtious, had excellent English and was able to explain the history and geography of the Pueblo’s Blanco’s and Ronda. The car was clean and his driving very safe. This type of tour is exactly what one wants for that ‘personal ‘ touch so you end up with fantastic memories.

We did a private tour of the white villages and Ronda with Aitor. It was beyond our expectations. A perfect day in Spain… even the weather was nice for August. Aitor knew so much about the history of the region and Spain that it put everything we were seeing into context. He was also great with our kids, including them in conversations and asking questions. We ate and drank like locals along the way stopping for amazing tapas. Thank you Aitor for making it such a great day! I could write so much more about how great this experience and Aitor were. We would definitely book this tour again!

We had a fabulous day tour with Jose. He promptly picked us up from our hotel and drove us to two small beautiful towns and then to Ronda. He suggested places to see great views and drove us through gorgeous mountain roads. In Ronda, he brought us to a local tapas place, helped us order and then suggested a walk through town on our own. He also drove us into the valley for another great view of Ronda. Later, he gave us suggestions for our last evening in Seville.

We arranged a private tour of Ronda with wine tasting and olive oil tasting and it did not disappoint. Our guide, Carlos, was the best!
He was so knowledgeable and friendly. He was prompt and made the trip that much better with all of his stories of the land and the history. We were lucky enough to have him a 2nd day on our trip to Granada.
Mahsa –
Thanks a lot, Alane for sharing this. We are very glad you enjoyed your trip with us in Spain and Morocco. We wish you many happy trips!
Kavita –
Our guides Gabriele and Antonia really made this day out a great experience. As a solo traveller going on the tour, both were extremely friendly and made me feel very welcome. Both had an extensive knowledge of the areas we were visiting which made the tour much more insightful! My favourite part of the day was the olive oil tasting, a heavily authentic experience and a definite must do if you are going to book this tour!

We had a fabulous private tour and transfer to Ronda on October 11 with Havvy and Juan. The olive oil tasting, the stunning villages, picturesque drive and Havvy’s wonderful commentary made for a memorable day. Masha was a pleasure to deal with, giving us lots of options for our transfer (and sightseeing tour) from Seville to Ronda. Highly recommended.

We had a perfect time!!!
We booked a tour for 2 with the agency after the nice critics we read in TripAdvisor.
Roberto (driver) and Javier (tour guide ) they were a nice surprise for us.
They were consistent, really pleasant, and with a nice sense of humor.
We visited three villages.Arcos de la frontera,Grasalema and Ronda. We walked around with Javier and it was like hanging out with a friend who made us a tour in his homeland gaving information and stories for each place. Also he gave the best (THE BEST ) suggestions for tapas in the lunch we had.
We thought that the tour, which duration was 10 hours, it would be tiring but we didn’t realise how the time passed away.
We will have a really nice memory.Thank you!!

My husband and I went on the White Villages and Ronda tour and had a wonderful and relaxing time. Both our guide Miguel and driver Enrique were superb. It was like being shown around by good friends. They tuned into our interests and rhythms, we felt very well looked after. We were also given fantastic recommendations for our time in Seville as well as our onward travels in Spain.

David Cuidad organized a complex itinerary for me to perfection–including a Seville & Toledo tour, then a drive through the white villages of Andalusia (Seville-Grazalema-Malaga-Granada), and finally a 1/2 day tour of Granada. Ernesto did the Seville and white villages tour & is an outstanding guide & driver. He stopped to let me take many photos–cork and almond trees, donkeys, cathedrals, palaces, and more. We found a great cafe in Toledo & shared paella. He was patient as I shopped for GC and found cappucino when I was thirsty. He is formerly an Iberian pilot so you KNOW his driving was perfection itself. David co-founded this group & has a unique background as a marine biologist and can lead dive tours as well. He is expert in all things Spain and helped me organize my Wish List. I highly recommend this group!

We did the White Villages tour with Nestor and thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Nestor was very knowledgeable and a very entertaining character. The places we visited were breathtaking and the food was outstanding! We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Seville.

Two tours, both felt as though we were hanging out with locals each of whom had so much pride and passion for what we were shown and told. The breathtaking white villages, chatting with local artisans, interspersed with a short hike in a national park, a shared meal – equals a perfect day. The Roof Top tour of Seville, a shared drink at twilight, the lights and excitement of a vibrant yet intimate city with history and cultural knowledge gained.

We did the white villages and Ronda day trip with Nestor and Laureline. It was a very good day from the beginning at 8 am in the morning when they picked us up at the appartment we were staying till the last moment.
They really knew what they were doing and were able to adapt to all our wishes. We started the day with a delicious andalusian breakfast in a small bar next to the road, a place where I would have never stopped on my own. Afterwards we visited Arcos de la Frontera and learned a lot about the history of this town and with a small stop we drove to Grazalema which was also very beautiful. Nestor and Laureline took us to a lovey and tasty (!) tapas bar and we took some very nice pictures. At the end of the day we visited Ronda which was why we wanted to do the tour. And yes it was beautiful but in my memories I will rather have all those funny moments my boyfriend and I had with Nestor and Laureline. In the end it felt like we visited some friends and they showed us around. If we ever go back to Sevilla, we want to do more tours with them. 🙂

We took the white cities tour to Rondo, Zahara, and Grazelema with Jose. We arranged it a little late and were so glad to get a spot for 2 in a van and they even picked us up near our flat (WE were on time! ;). It was a rainy day, but by the time we got to Rondo – the highlight of the trip – the sun was out and we went on a short walk that was great for seeing the famous bridges and country side. They took us for some of the best tapas we have had in our 3 weeks in Spain. I mean, really good!! I recommend “not just a tourist” for any of their tours. Thanks David and Jose!

The tour took us to Ronda and a couple of the white villages in between. We had a great time with Nestor. He was very engaging. He took time to show us nature, history, and the Spanish culture. It was a long day, but well worth it.
