Enjoy a comprehensive full-day tour of Granada. Following a pick-up from your hotel in Seville, drive to Granada at the foothills of the Sierra Nevada.
Skip the long lines to the Alhambra, and discover one of the most impressive palaces and gardens in Spain. Sometimes referred to as “A Pearl among Emeralds” in reference to the grandeur of its setting and opulence of its architecture, you will be invited to wander the chambers and gardens with an official guide. Uncover the mysteries that lie in every room, and discover more about the Nasrid dynasty.
For lunch head to the Albaycin neighborhood for a taste pairing of Andalusian tapas and drinks. With every drink you order, 1 tapa (a generous plate of local food) is served. Your local guide will explain the origin of this tradition. Sample a special dessert from Granada that was originally made for the Pope.
Enjoy breathtaking views of the Sierra Nevada mountains as you walk along the gypsy neighborhood and experience the multicultural influences of the city center, rich with the aroma of teas and spices drifting from local houses and markets. Learn the Roman, Muslim, Christian, and gypsy history of Granada on storied streets. Transfer back to Seville after a full day of history, flavors and Spanish exoticism.

Our day trip to Granada was amazing. Our guide and driver, Carlos, made the day so wonderful — he was knowledgeable, professional, and kind. He made the long drive very pleasant and enjoyable, and when in Granada, he showed us many great sights and made sure we ate well. He also gave us lots of great travel tips for the remainder of our time in Seville. Our guided tour of Alhambra was amazing as well; our guide, Pedro, was knowledgeable and personable, tailoring the tour to our interests and answering all of our questions. Our day in Granada was one of the best parts of our trip to Spain, and all credit goes to Pedro and Carlos, our terrific guides.

From start to end a wonderful experience. I went on a day trip to Granada and Alhambra with my 86 year old mother. She is a strong old lady, but due to knee problems she needs her walker to get around. Not just a tourist is a truly service minded company. Answered all our questions and organized everything to the best. Carlos was an excellent driver and guide during the day and the visit to Alhambra was beyond our expectations. I have been there twice before and this was probably the best guide I have ever had.

Granada Day Tour from Seville. Booking with Mahsa was seamless and easy to do. She replied to my questions in a very timely manner and was both cordial and professional. On the day of the tour, Jose was prompt and arrived exactly at the time agreed upon. We felt very safe in Jose’s vehicle as he was an experienced, mindful driver. Jose stopped at a cafe so we could have a coffee. He introduced us to pan con tomate with Iberian ham which was devine. He delivered us safely to the Alhambra and showed us exactly where he would be once our Alhambra tour was over. Once we met up, Jose took us to a little lunch place for some tapas and Tinto de Verrano. He showed us around Granada and introduced us to a wonderful dessert that was once made for the pope. Jose was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer every question we threw at him. Such a great guide and a true gentleman. At the end of our tour, he drove us back to our hotel. We have been on many tours throughout Europe and I can confidently tell you that Mahsa and Not Just A Tour are one of the best ever! Our day in Granada will not be soon forgotten. Truly a class act!

THE highlight of our visit to the Andalusia region. I had learned about La Alhambra during Spanish classes in high school and always wanted to visit. Now my kids are preteen and starting to learn Spanish, so when we decided to visit Spain, we knew we had to make a stop at La Alhambra.
La Alhambra is a sight to behold but we didn’t know much about it aside from what you’d find in a tourist book. Our guide, Pedro, brought it to life for us in different ways and even engaged our kids in the process of learning about its rich history. Through his knowledge and storytelling abilities, he helped us imagine what it would have been like to live in the days of the sultans…and then later in the days of the Spanish kings and queens.
We returned home after a long day feeling a little more knowledgeable of Spain’s history and absolutely in awe of its wondrous gem.

Fantastic day trip to Alhambra from Seville.
Carlos was the most courteous driver and went out of his way to make our six hour journey with him comfortable. He also showed us around Grenada before we visited Alhambra with a local guide. It was a memorable day.

I would recommend the day trip from Seville to Granada. Luis Delgado our driver was very friendly and Filipo was the tour guide in Granada, he was very knowlwgeble about the history and was very attentive to our kids needs. Fantastic tours by Not Just a Tourist. We used them for two tours while in Spain. Angela took us on a full day tour of Granada and the Alhambra. Her local knowledge was great and given the extreme heat she adjusted the tour as needed (arranging for pick up in some points and spending more time in the shade when possible!). she showed us the great spots in Granada for history, pics and shopping and then made sure we were taken care of on the Alhambra tour. Our second tour was the rooftop tour in Seville. Filippo took us to some great sunset spots and ended the night with a cocktail. Thank you for making this a great part of our anniversary trip!!!

The whole transfer trip from Seville to Granada was fantastic. We requested for a short visit at Ronda to see its beautiful gorge and we love it! Our tour guide, Javier was knowledgable, helpful and accommodating throughout the whole trip.

We were on the fence about taking this tour because it would be such a long day but decided to take it so our kids could see the Alhambra. The day didn’t seem long at all. Our guide, Javi, was great and we had a training guide there too and the driver Juan so it was like a party. The guide they used for the Alhambra was great too. We saw so much and our two teenage girls said the trip was “totally worth it”

We thoroughly enjoyed our private day trip from Seville to Granada! Jose, our guide, was extremely personable, upbeat and knowledgeable and absolutely catered to our interests. Juan is very friendly and a capable and competent driver, We definitely got the most out of our day and left Seville/Granada with a most memorable experience. The tour company also graciously accommodated a travel glitch that we encountered during our time in Spain. We would definitely book another tour with this company!

Our compliments go out to Miguel, our guide, and Juan, our driver. They made our day go very smoothly and the entire day, although very long, was entirely enjoyable. Miguel was very eager to cater to our dietary needs as vegetarians (not as easy as it is in other areas) and kept our 3 teens entertained by engaging them in practicing their Spanish. He was extremely accommodating, friendly, and had a passion for facts and history. We had no idea he was new to the travel industry! Having come a long distance but with relatively short time to tour, we were determined to see Granada/Alhambra and Miguel made sure that we did this trip justice.

My husband, 2 daughters (20 and 21) and I did a wonderful day trip from Seville to Granada (Alhambra and Granada town walk) with guide Jose and driver Juan. Although we booked a group tour we were the only ones so had a private tour!
It’s a long day but was totally worth it. This was largely due to our delightful guide Jose. He treated us more like friends than clients. He was knowledgable, caring and considerate. Nothing was too much trouble for him. I wish all tours were this good.

We had our wonderful tour guide Miguel pick us (5 friends and myself) up at our AirBnB with no problem. There was a small mix up with the pick up time but Not Just A Tourist was very quick to respond to me the night before (pretty late at night) with the correct times.
The trip is LONG … tiring and TOTALLY WORTH IT! Granada and La Alhambra are the finest examples of Moorish art work anywhere in Spain!
We stopped at a lovely road side restaurant for a quick breakfast complete with cute, friendly cats to pet! Then we drove through the countryside and saw a million olive trees. Miguel answered all of our questions and was very informative along the way.
Once we arrived in Granada we got a private tour of the city and hiked up to the best view points to see La Alhambra. Afterwards we stopped in a local favorite place for traditional tapas. Miguel ordered for us so we could enjoy the finest food! It was a treat and delicious!
We were then dropped off at La Alhambra for our skip the line guided tour. So breathtaking and wonderful …. words cannot describe the experience.
Miguel met us afterwards to drive us back to Seville … we slept most of the way.
I recommend this company completely for a great trip and a great experience!

My husband and I had the best time on our day trip to Granada! Jose was an amazing guide – he showed us local tapas spots and many incredible places and viewpoints throughout Granada. He was extremely knowledgeable and made the day a lot of fun! We quickly sensed his passion for both Seville and Granada. He left us with a detailed map of Seville to use during the rest of our stay, with recommendations customized just for us. Some reviews said this is a very long trip to do in a day, but I think the pace of the day was perfect and we saw a lot! I would highly recommend this tour.
