Loved this day tour from Granda to Caminito. It was a nice ride and we were the only guests. It felt like going on an excursion with a friend. Our guide told us a lot about the region, history and nature and the hike itself is a must. It is very safe and although my finance is afraid of heights it really did not bother her since there are fences. The views are amazing. We enjoyed our day a lot and would recommend it.

It was a dream for my children to visit this gorgue. It is an extremely scenic hike. Very easy to walk and it took us only 1.5 hour with a lot of stops to take photos. We were glad that we could do it as a private tour since there were huge groups of 30 people walking around too. We had very nice lunch afterwards with view over the lake and drove back to Granada with enough time to join our tapas tour in the Albaycin area which was a great way to end a beautiful day with great views.

Very nice hike and not dangerous at all. It is moderate walking and you have nice views from the entire path. Our guide told us the story about the little house that is there and still inhabited by a person which was quite amazing. Before the hike we had a nice Andalusian breakfast and after the hike we stopped in a nice local bar for some traditional food. A Perfect day out!

It is a short drive from Granada and worth visiting it when it is not too hot. It is very safe too. Just make sure you book your tour months in advance as tickets are always sold out. We could also do kayaking but preferred to come back to Granada to enjoy our time in the city too.

Make sure not to take a bus tour to visit the Caminito del Rey. We had a private tour and it was perfect to enjoy the scenery, walk at our own pace, stop for photos. We saw lots of big groups being dragged and it did not feel right. It is a place where you want to stop and take in the beauty. It was a masterpiece of engineering when it was built and the scenery around it is gorgeous too.
