This must be the best and most memorable event in Sevilla ever. Especially with these three fellas – Jesus, Miguel and Enrique.
Our tour started from our hotel doorstep and into Enrique’s beemer. A short drive through Sevilla’s picturesque sierras with Enrique giving us a brief history lesson, we stopped for a champion’s breakfast at a local cafe. Fantastic start!
Right after our hearty meal, Miguel handed us over to Jesus, our Iberian Ham guide, and Jesus made sure that we had the best Iberian experience ever. From the feeding of the pigs, to the detailed explanation of the curing processes and the tasting session, Jesus made sure we were very well taken care of in his farm.
Lunch was at a nearby cave and a quick visit inside before we called it a day. A good full day’s worth of sights and sounds accompanied by lovely food and company. Definitely a tour worthy of an excellent rating!

I did this tour with Aitor as my private driver/guide for the day. I would not have asked for a better experience. The landscape is amazing, the cities are full of local culture and free of tourists.
Aitor was a great guide and I would recommend him to anyone, great grasp of English and his knowledge of the local area’s culture, history, and off the beaten path activities, including an out of the way trip to one of the oldest, if not the oldest mosque in Spain.
We started out at my hotel in the old city section of Sevilla and stopped off for a quick cafe and breakfast snack before getting to the Eritz farm for the tour. This was a fantastic experience with a great tasting at the end.
Next Aitor took me to a small village, Linares de la Sierra, in the mountains that was virtually empty of tourists and after wandering the streets talking about the local culture we ended up eating tapas in the plaza de toros before heading to the Grupta de las Marivillas cave for an hour of wonder and awe.
Finally, not having to be be in Sevilla right away Aitor went off book and we went to Almonaster la Real for a one of a kind look at one of, if not the oldest, mosque in Spain.
Finally, after an amazing, but tiring day, we headed back to Sevilla and Aitor continued to impress with his recommendations for off the beaten path tapas and drinks in the non-touristy areas.
I would recommend this tour 100% to anyone who asks, and hope that you are lucky enough to have Aitor as your guide!

Had a wonderful time visiting the Iberian farm with my wife. It was the highlight during our Spain honeymoon. We were picked up at the hotel by our tour guide Caroline and a driver. It was a private tour so just it was just 4 of us visiting the farm. We visited the little black pigs at their habitat, then had a tour and explained about the procedure in making the jamon, then finally we got to taste different grades of jamon. Both wife and I enjoyed the tour very much and we bought a lot back for souvenirs. Afterwards Caroline brought us to a small town nearby for lunch and it was fantastic.
Specially props to Caroline who is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She was attentive to our needs and very willing to share her experience and culture with us.

A truly wonderful visit to the range of one of the award winning families producing the finest jamon in the world. Through this trip you see the free range pig’s happy lives and also learn about how the adding process is done, and of course eat some of the most delicious, best jamon in the world paired with local wines. A fantastic experience!

My partner and I did this excursion on April. The excursion is designed for between one and eight people. On this occasion there were just the two of us, accompanied by our guide José and driver Enrique. José met us outside our hotel and we left on time at 9.30am.
The excursion took us into Huelva province, to a family-run ham-producing business called Eiriz in the village of Corteconcepción. We met Manuel, our guide at the factory, who first took us into the fields behind the factory to see the pigs. He explained how they’re raised and the stringent checks that are carried out to ensure the provenance of the finished product. He then took us around the factory to show us how the hams are produced, and also how to identify the best quality ham (the famous jamon Iberico de bellota). This was followed by a ham tasting, with three types of ham accompanied by different wines and sherries. With bread this was effectively our lunch, but they were generous with the ham so we didn’t go hungry!
Afterwards we were driven a short distance to the caves at Aracena where we were taken on a guided tour with a group of about fifteen other visitors. The tour was in Spanish (they usually have audio guides in English, but these weren’t available that day). The caves are absolutely stunning and well worth a visit. We returned to Seville at about 6pm.
This was a really good ‘specialist’ trip – one of the best we’ve been on – and while we’ve given it a 5-point rating, we would have given more if we could. José was an excellent guide who spoke fluent English and he ensured that we got the most out of our day. Our driver Enrique was a very friendly character who also spoke English and pointed out interesting features on our journey. Manuel at the factory (another fluent English speaker) taught us so much about the pigs and hams that we came away feeling like real experts! All in all a superb day out, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

One of the best experiences of my life! I took my dad when he visited me and Spain and we still talk about it 3 years later. The expert pairing with sherry of each grade of jamon was incredible. Great attention to detail and service.
