My husband and I participated in two tours with Not Just a Tourist in Seville, while on our honeymoon. Both experiences were just so completely stellar; the guides are wonderful, knowledgable and SO FUN. We felt like we were with friends and they treated us so well. We would absolutely book an experience with them again!

If I could give this company 10 stars – I would! My fiancé and I did 3 private tours with Not Just A Tourist on our recent trip to Sevilla. First, we started with Josè on the 2 hour Panoramic Tour of Sevilla (which ended up being so engaging we went for 3) This town is breathtaking in its architecture. The tour started at the easy to find town hall. Josè gave us such a great overview of the history and culture of Sevilla. My fiancé often gets bored on history heavy tours and Josè did a perfect job of balancing my interests and my partners. We slowly ambled through all the lovely streets gaining invaluable insights on where and what to eat, what to see, and getting a first hand view of the pride the “Sevillans” (and the people in Triana) have of their town. He was kind enough to write down and mark on a calendar all the places to see, eat, and explore. He really went over and above in every single way possible. We feel like we now have a friend in Spain and made us fall in love with Sevilla! After a stop for lunch (wonderfully recommended) we met up with Elana for a tour of the cathedral and the Alcazar. I was so excited to see both, but my husband was getting a bit tired and overstimulated. Again, she did a great job of reading the situation and tailoring the tour to the 2 of us. We learned so many interesting things about the architecture and history of both buildings. Extremely knowledgeable! Plus she got us right in both places while others waited in LONG lines. I recommend this tour for that alone and then the bonus is the fabulous guide! We had a such a great time on both tours that we reached out on Saturday (at 3pm mind you) and asked if they had a tour to the white villages on Sunday morning. Sure enough, a quick email back confirmed they could get us a private driver and guide for the next morning. Talk about service! Javi (our guide) and Enrique (our hilarious driver and diehard Real Betis fan!) met us at the cathedral in the morning with a nice sedan to drive out to Ronda. If you are debating on going to the white villages – debate no more – go! We took the hour and half drive talking current events in Europe, USA, Spain, and the world with the intelligent and well studied Javi. He also gave us some history and insight in the areas we were driving by. It was a comfortable, informative, and safe drive! Then we arrived in the gorgeous and picturesque Ronda before the crowds. It was so nice in all the towns we visited to not have to worry about where to park, where to walk, and where the best photo opps were – Javi and Enrique took care of all of that so we could just enjoy ourselves. Plus Javi was kind enough to indulge us in lots of photos to remember our trip. It can be hard to spend 9 hours with 2 strangers, but this was so laid back and wonderful we didn’t want it to end. We both took a little nap on the way home and felt welcome to do so. There was lots of walking (up some steep hills which I’m sure could be cut back if needed) and heat, so wear sunblock and good shoes. I could go on and on, but will stop here. Message me for any more details. Considering our experience on all three of these tours their guides are extremely professional, educated, and well spoken – by far the best tour company we have ever worked with in all our travels!

Sara was a wonderful guide, very friendly and great English. From the beginning of the tour it felt like a friend showing us around her hometown. She took us to many places we wouldn’t have found on our own. Extremely knowledgeable and passion for the city. We learned a lot about the history, culture, food while having fun. There is no way we would have learned so much in such an enjoyable way on our own. Highly recommend Sara…thanks for a very memorable day!!

I did 3 tours with this company , my guide was the fabulous Javier who is incredibly well travelled himself. I did the tapas Triana tour which was well paced & had a good mix of locations. I also did the rooftop tour which I loved especially as it was at sunset when it was cooling down & there was a breeze. Seville has so many hidden squares, rooftops, exceptional architecture it’s definitely on my list to do again. Finally I did the 2 hr panoramic tour which Javier adapted to include parts I was interested in visiting mainly Feria area which was not touristy at all & I really enjoyed exploring. Javier is a lively, enthusiastic guide who brings the city alive! Definitely recommend using this company & hopefully Javier will be yr guide

In December I went to Seville to meet some good friends of mine who came over from the UK for a long weekend away. I thought I knew something about Seville but with time being a factor I figured a tour with Not Just a Tourist would be a good idea…We went on the 2 hour panoramic walking tour with Jose and the 2 hours flew by. He was charming and entertaining, besides being very patient with us! Upon arriving at the river we took the liberty of asking for an authentic place in Triana for a beer and tasty tapas and José gave us an excellent tip. The best thing I can say is that the whole experience from booking to experiencing the walking tour with Jose was effortless. Jose being a warm, friendly and communicative chap also helped! No hesitation in recommending their services based on this experience.

My wife, daughter and I booked a 2 hour walking tour and were promptly met by our guide, Sara. Sara was wonderful; she was full of knowledge and passion about her city that was refreshing. The tour was easily walk able and hit all the important sites in Seville. We had many questions and inquiries that Sara handled easily. I highly recommend this tour especially with this guide.
