Enjoying Andalusian scenery while on horseback is a delight that is available to everyone. All you have to do is tell us the day and time and we will take you to enjoy some of the beautiful natural scenery that lies just a few kilometers outside Granada.
You will discover the world-famous Andalusian horse breed, suitable to ride for people and children without any experience. The ranch is run by a hospitable family and you will have the chance to discover life in rural Southern Spain.
Our horse riding trip offers a refreshing alternative for any visit to Granada in both summer and winter and you will see the Sierra Nevada mountain range and the view over 30 towns in the valley.
This activity is very sought after by everybody and perfectly suitable for children, beginners and advanced rides. Depending on your dates and availability the ranch might change and the drive time might differ too.
Details:
- Schedule: Monday to Sunday at 10 am, in the afternoon starting from 3 pm (times change depending on the season)
- Duration: 2 hours +1 hour drive. At weekends it might be 1 hour only. Please check with us before.
- Group size: 1-10 people
- Meeting point: Hotel pick up if requested & subject to availability. If not please ask us for the ranch address
- If you have kids under 10 let us know beforehand to confirm.

- Hotel pickup and drop off (upon availability and it is subject to a supplement of 50-95 euros depending on the ranch)
- Helmet
- Expert guide (might not always be fluent in English)

Practical information:
- Duration of the ride: approximately 2 hours
- Suitable for children & beginners
- The drive to the ranch is either about 30 min each way or 45-60 min depending on the ranch we go to or you prefer

We had a fantastic horseback riding experience arranged by Masha. The booking process was very easy and Masha was very responsive to all of our questions. Fran picked us up from out accommodations and drove us to the stables, about 25 minutes outside of Granada There we were met by the friendly and knowledgeable horse farm staff. Soon we were warming up in the ring, before a wonderful ride through olive groves and orange orchards. Riding beautiful and well trained Andalusian horses through the Spanish countryside was a highlight of out trip. I would highly recommend Not Just a Tourist.
