We absolutely loved our day trip. Our driver in Seville was punctual and the drive was along a nice road with great views. We could even spot a few Spanish bulls in the roadside ranches. Our guide in Gibraltar was Jose Luis. He had amazing stories to share and made it very fun. The monkeys were so cute. You have to be careful as they can bite but we still could take some nice pictures with them from a safe distance and with the African continent in the background. After Gibraltar we went to a local beach where we could take an amazing picture with the entire Rock of Gibraltar in the background and see a lot of locals on the beach as it was weekend! We had also asked to combine this trip with a visit to Tarifa which is one of the nicest small towns on this coast. It made our day about 3-4 hours longer but it was a great idea as we could really appreciate the nice scenery and the kite-surfing vibes in this town too. We loved our interaction with Mahsa and Jose as they were very accommodating and made us a tailor-made itinerary.

WOW!!! This trip was incredible and we loved it. We booked it at the last minute and would have been very sad if we had not done this tour with Carlos. He is incredible and we had such an amazing time with him. Thank you for making our day incredible snd we can’t wait to come back.

What an amazing day trip we took to Gibraltar! It started with Carlos, our driver, promptly picking us up at our AirBnB. He was courteous and sincerely cared about our experience. His English was easy to understand. He was attentive as to when to enhance our trip with conversation and when to be quiet (so I could get some emails sent or when napped during the drive). He even bought us a light breakfast on the way down. After lunch, he walked the shop section of Gibraltar with us to help us find the two souvenirs we were looking for. Can’t believe that the driver was such a big part of our experience.
Per the main event, touring Gibraltar, our guide Jose Luis, was fantastic. Being a lifelong resident, he was quite knowledgeable of the history and local trivia. He also was easy to understand. He took us to all the spots and gave us ample time at each. We saw some beautiful views (including Morocco) and learned a lot of history. After our excellent tour, he took us to the main square to meet up with Carlos again to plan our lunch (not on the company) and time to walk around before heading back to Seville.
Carlos and Jose Luis definitely deserve a full 5 stars!

Our trip guide, Jose, was very attentive and made sure we were always will taken care of.
Very knowledgeable of the areas on the trip down and did a great job with history of Gibraltar. He also provided additional recommendations for our stay in Seville.

This was an amazing day trip. Carlos picked us up at our hotel. He was very friendly. Once in Gibraltar we had a different tour guide, Luis, who is a Gibraltar native and had so much to tell us about the rock. We went all over the island and even had a macaque jump on us! After lunch in the square, Carlos let us customize our trip- shopping, dessert, beach, etc. before dropping us back off at the hotel.

The guide cum driver (because the driver was sick) was awesome. He, was accomodating and flexible in his arrangment and when we asked about the white villages on our way from Seville to Gibraltar, he made it a point to stop by one of them on the way back. When we asked to have a better view of the village, he deliberately help us find a better vantage point to take a nicer picture. Thank you

Day trip to Gibraltar from Seville was great. Our tour guide Jose took care of us and provided great historical details about Gibraltar and the surrounding areas. We used taxis driver Luis Car to see the island and he was great. Together they provided a wonderful tour. Highly recommend this trip.

The tour of Gibraltar was excellent! Jose Luis spoke excellent English and was enjoyable to have as a tour guide. The wild monkeys were so fun and the story of their lives is interesting. Being able to say we could see Africa across the Straits of Gibraltar is amazing. We were picked up from our hotel by Juanlu that did not speak any English which was difficult but he had a phone translator to help communicate. He tried his best, was on time, and was very nice. I highly recommend visiting Gibraltar and going to the top of The Rock.

We booked two private day tours from Seville: one with Jose to Gibraltar, the other with Carolina to Granada and the Alhambra Palace. Both tours were excellent and exceeded expectations. The local knowledge of each guide is most impressive, as is their willingness to customise each tour to best meet the guests’ wishes. Strongly recommended!

We highly recommend Not Just a Tourist for tours in Seville and a day trip to Gibralter. We had 3 different guides and all three get 5 stars – Carolina, Susanna, and Miguel. Carolina started the day off with the following: “Tell me what you want – more history or more photo ops.” That was indicative of the way all 3 guides worked with my husband and me (we booked private tours). We prefer to learn the history and get stories that you don’t get in the guide books. That is what we got. All three are very personable and we immediately felt comfortable with them. There sometimes was more of an exchange or a dialogue so that it was not like we were sitting in a class room. We took the walking tour, than the cathedral and the palace, and finally the day long trip to Gibralter. Miguel the guide from Seville, Roberto the driver, and Joseph the taxi driver guide at The Rock were fabulous. You may think you don’t want to spend a whole day of your vacation going to The Rock. I know I thought that but my husband wanted to go. I am so glad we did. It was the highlight and Miguel felt like an old friend who speaks with a different accent than us. The history, the monkeys, and the sheer magnitude of The Rock was fabulous. I highly recommend this tour company. They made our trip to Seville so much better than we could have imagined.

What an excellent day trip with our knowledgable, friendly and fun Spanish tour guide Nestor. We had never done a tour with a personal guide, however this was the only option for us so we spent a little more than budgeted to book this. It was worth every dollar/euro/pound!
We not only experienced Gibraltar and all of its history and people, but during lunch our guide took the time to suggest and write down suggested restaurants and foods/tapas/wines/sights to experience during the rest of our Spain trip…and they were all awesome.
Our guide was very personable.He made our day extremely memorable and special. He obviously loves what he does and he is great at sharing his enthusiasm. We feel like we made a friend on this tour.
We highly recommend this tour, and especially our guide if you can get him.
